This is one of the few non-cardinal roads in Settlement 295. Back when they were building the roads, they were in a hurry to reach Settlement 365, so they just cut straight through the low bushland and took some shortcuts.[1]
Back when this road was constructed, they called it "schrosz weg" meaning "diagonal road".[2]
