This road has existed since before 1958 as evidenced on a 1958 DOS map.[1]
In 1960 the approach to Bermudian Landing was reconfigured.[2]
Construction started on the road from Settlement 17 to Settlement 206 in 1960 and was completed in 1964.[3][2]
In February, 2004 CISCO and ANCA/RODLA construction companies began upgrading of 11.5 miles of the road from the edge of Settlement 37 to the entrance of Settlement 326 and Settlement 302. The $6.64 million project upgraded the road from a dirt feeder road to a paved distributor road.[4][5]
