Guinea Grass Road was upgraded for the first 8 km between its intersection with the Philip Goldson Highway and the entrance to Guinea Grass. Approximately 720m were raised due to extreme floods that occurred in October. The road segment received a double-bituminous surface treatment, including reflective road studs, center and edge line marking, a pedestrian crossing and other road furniture to improve road safety.^[1]
