At the Annual General Meeting of Spanish Lookout on January 27, 2026 there were two options to vote on. Either leave the junction as it was with only stop signs and build a mile of pavement somewhere else or construct a roundabout. Even though the roundabout was estimated to cost $800,000.00, it won the vote by a large majority.[1]
