Johan Harder and his two sons Franz and Abram broke away from the old order traditions of the Springfield Mennonites to found a new Christ centered community where members were free to practice and worship as they pleased and to migle with other cultures, American, German, French, Mestizo, Mayan, etc. ^[1]
