Guinea Grass was a Mahogany woodcutter stand in 1827 already.[1]

Education

The Catholic School had 50 students in 1927 and 54 in 1928.[2][3]

Roman Catholic Church

From at least 1917[4] to 1928[3], Guinea Grass had a catholic mission under the Church of the Immaculate Conception, from Settlement 186.

Seventh Day Adventist Church

The El Shaddai Church is under the North Belize Mission Conference (Settlement 64) in the Belize Union Mission (Settlement 12) of the Inter-American Division (Miami, Florida) of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. In 2025 they had 100 members.[5]
