Rock Stone Pond was founded as an agricultural settlement in March 1937 and by 1938 all available land plots had been taken.[1][2]
A Women's Institute existed in Rock Stone Pond in 1948 and was responsible for a Soup Kitchen at the school.[3]
A small hurricane shelter was constructed in 1963.[4]
From at least from 1917[5] to 1918[6] Rock Stone Pond had a Catholic Mission under the Church of the Immaculate Conception from Settlement 186.[5]
The Solid Rock SDA Church is under the Central Belize Mission Conference (Settlement 12) in the Belize Union Mission (Settlement 12) of the Inter-American Division (Miami, Florida) of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Between 2020-2025 they had 51 members.[7]
