In 1924 an unusual amount of deaths from Malaria was reported in Settlement 224, Settlement 256 and Settlement 2.[1]
In 1948 anti-malarial work was carried out.[2]
The Catholic School had 37 students in 1927 and 30 in 1928.[3][4]
From at least 1926[5] to 1941[6] San Pedro Columbia was a mission of St. Peter Claver's Church in Settlement 202[3]; from at least 1945[7] to at least 1947[8] it was attended from St. Anthony's Church in Settlement 224, and in 2026 its San Pedro Church was a mission of St. Peter Claver parish in Settlement 202.[9]
