In 1892 the Chairman returned to Settlement 12 from Santa Cruz and said that the smallpox had risen from 2 cases to 8.[1]

Religious Institutions
Roman Catholic

From at least 1912[2] to at least 1925[3] Santa Cruz was a mission of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Settlement 186[4][5], and in 2026 its Santa Cruz Church was a mission of La Inmaculada parish in Settlement 186.[6]
