Used to be called Bomba Bank by the Baptists,[1] and La Bomba on the Rio Norte by the Catholics.[2]
From at least 1917[3] to 1928[4] La Bomba had a catholic mission under the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, from Belize Town.
