Talheim received it's name on January 18, 1975 at the Annual General Meeting.[1]
The Mountain View Church is a Kleine Gemeinde church for the Talheim district and was constructed in 2024.
Talheim has 2 Kleinegemeinde schools, the Talheim School for lower grades and the Talheim School for upper grades.
