Education

Rosenhof School

Rosenhof School was established as a Kleine Gemeinde school in 1959. It was the 3rd school in Spanish Lookout.[2] It had 1 school building and lies abandoned now.

Rosenberg School

Rosenberg School is a Kleine Gemeinde school and serves the western part of the district. It has 2 school buildings. It was mentioned in 1980 as the Rosenhofwest Schule.[1]

Jinney Creek School

In October 1979 a new school was planned to be constructed for the year 1980 but the location was uncertain yet. In 1980 they decided to not buy the school lot from Norman P. Penner as it was uncertain how long the school would be there.

Eddie K Reimer and Franz W Dueck were the first school teachers there. The valley was always very windy so the window shutters were usually 3/4 closed.

In 1984 the school was merged back into Rosenberg School and the school building was moved to Hochfeld in Settlement 359.[1][3][4]

New Hope Mission School

New Hope Mission School is a Kleine Gemeinde mission school for the children of Settlement 88.

Emerald Christian School

This school was founded by the EMMC Church and was called the EMMC School until recently.

Medical

Rosenhof has the only medical facility in Spanish Lookout. The Spanish Lookout Clinic has 2 ambulances and serves not only the community, but surrounding areas as well, and is often the first to appear on the scene of a traffic accident.
