Lagoon Valley is a residential subdivision situated in Settlement 365 and Settlement 364. To the north it is bordered by Aguacate Lagoon and Waterway 48 which flows eastward into it. To the south it's bordered by 60th Street.
In the 1940s there was a logging camp called Long Bank on Waterway 48 just to the north of Lagoon Valley with several logging trails running south over the valley.
In 1978, Settlement 295 purchased a large piece of Duck Run, and George Plett bought this valley. Then in 2021 he established the Lagoon Valley Subdivision.
In 2024, Phase II of the subdivision was initiated with a road constructed from the subdivision, south to 60th Street. By 2026 it had 21 families living in it.[1]
In 2025 the first commercial chicken barn was constructed.
Initially, in 2021 the price of an acre was $8,000. In 2025 it was $12,000 an acre already and then by 2026 the price had risen to $20,000.
Lagoon Valley's name comes from it being situated in the valley of Aguacate Lagoon.
