To the south it's bordered by 60th Street.\n\n# History\nIn the 1940s there was a logging camp called Long Bank on [[waterway:48]] just to the north of Lagoon Valley with several logging trails running south over the valley.\n\nIn 1978, [[settlement:295]] purchased a large piece of Duck Run, and George Plett bought this valley. Then in 2021 he established the **Lagoon Valley Subdivision**.\n\nIn 2024, Phase II of the subdivision was initiated with a road constructed from the subdivision, south to 60th Street. By 2026 it had 21 families living in it.\u003Cref>personal knowledge\u003C/ref>\n\nIn 2025 the first commercial chicken barn was constructed.\n\nInitially, in 2021 the price of an acre was $8,000. In 2025 it was $12,000 an acre already and then by 2026 the price had risen to $20,000.\n\n## Etymology\nLagoon Valley's name comes from it being situated in the valley of Aguacate
