The residents of Centerville came from Settlement 21 in 2020. They were originally from Settlement 319, and then they moved to Bird Walk, however the soil there was poor, so in 2010 some of them moved out and created a new village called Centerville.[1]
The village is high up in the foothills of the Maya Mountains where the cool breeze always blows and the soil is better suited to gardening.[1]
While they are very conservative, they are not nearly as conservative as they were in Settlement 319 . In 2026, they had bicycles, a community solar station to charge devices and a community phone.[1]
