On May 06, 2003 a ceremony was held, celebrating the completion of an all-weather road. Previously the villagers had to travel through the jungle by foot or on horseback. The road costed $100,000.[1]
On September 03, 2020 Hurricane Nana destroyed most of the crops in and around Dolores.[2]
