On September 03, 2020 Hurricane Nana destroyed most of the crops in and around Dolores.[1]
On May 06, 2003 a ceremony was held, celebrating the completion of an all-weather road. Previously the villagers had to travel through the jungle by foot or on horseback. The road costed $100,000.[2]
From at least 1926[3] to at least 1945[4] Dolores was a mission of St. Peter Claver's Church in Settlement 202[5], and in 2026 its Our Lady of Sorrows Church was a mission of St. Peter Claver parish in Settlement 202.[6]
