In The Handbook of British Honduras 1888-89 it is stated that R. Romero was appointed as Deputy Registrar for August Pine Ridge in 1887.[1]

From at least 1917[4] to 1928[5], August Pine Ridge had a catholic mission under the Church of the Immaculate Conception, from Orange Walk Town.
