In The Handbook of British Honduras 1888-89 it is stated that R. Romero was appointed as Deputy Registrar for August Pine Ridge in 1887.[1]

From at least 1906[4] to at least 1947[5] August Pine Ridge was a mission of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Settlement 186[6][7], and in 2026 its Sagrado Corazón Church was a mission of La Inmaculada parish in Settlement 186.[8]
The August Pine Ridge SDA Church is under the North Belize Mission Conference (Settlement 64) in the Belize Union Mission (Settlement 12) of the Inter-American Division (Miami, Florida) of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. In 2025 they had 7 members.[9]
