History
Springfield is a small Hoover Mennonite settlement, founded in response to a land shortage in Upper Barton Creek. They do not use modern equipment, electricity or drive cars due to religious beliefs.Springfield has family ties to Upper Barton Creek, Bird Walk and Roseville.
Springfield is known countrywide as having the best fruit trees in the country.
