History

The first settlers of Unitedville settled on the banks of the Small Barton Creek because of a cart road running through the area and due to the proximity of the Belize River.

Small Barton Creek was renamed Unitedville during the process of attaining independence from the United Kingdom.

Infrastructure

2021 - George Price Highway was repaved.
