At the 2026 Annual General Meeting a vote was held on which roads to pave next. Road 227 from Isaac Wolfe to Road 223 came out 9/9 on the votes.[1]
2026-02: Under the new Private Pavement Funding initiative, work started on paving 545 meters from Road 223 past Mennonite Beach Road and down the hill a short ways.. With this initiative, residents can fund new pavements and get paid back in 10 years at a 4% interest rate. The road was paved with chipseal on June 2, 2026.[2]
The road was long called Riverside Road, as it generally followed the course of the Waterway 20, but in 2020 when street names were updated they wanted to name part of this road 10th Street. A protest emerged and the change was reverted.[2]
