History

More Tomorrow was established in 1793 as a woodcutter camp by the English buccaneers.[1]

Infrastructure

There was a time when the Western Road (which has become the Road 7 ) actually passed through More Tomorrow. We know this because the older people will tell you that the historic Holy Saturday Crosscountry bicycle race (first ridden in 1928) once went over Tannish Creek in More Tomorrow on its way to Settlement 231 and back to Settlement 12.[1]

In 2003 the Road 24 was built, becoming the new main road into the village.[2] It was named after Ibrahim Abdullah (formerly Charles X “Justice” Eagan, a founding officer of UBAD in 1969).[1]

Previously the main road came from Settlement 66 and lead straight to the Waterway 20 and then along the river to More Tomorrow.[1]
