Duck Run was a logging camp and the remains of a sawmill still exist in it's location as of 2026.
Duck Run was a large tract of land, possibly a logging concession that existed from before 1945[1] up until at least 1978 when Spanish Lookout and other Spanish persons purchased the eastern half.
In 1978 3 villages were formed from the eastern section: Duck Run I, Duck Run II and Duck Run III.
Later, other villages were formed, such as Billy White, Carmelita Gardens and extensions to Santa Familia.
