The Duck Run Estate used to span from Settlement 276 to the edge of Settlement 295. Then in 1978 Spanish Lookout leased the northern and western part of today's Duck Run area in Spanish Lookout, and between that the Central American refugees established the three villages of Settlement 86, Settlement 87 and Settlement 88.[1]
In November 2001, Menno L Dueck leased 2 acres of land to Duck Run I for a cemetery.[2]
2000s - A 0.12 km² parcel of land south of the Bullet Tree Falls - Spanish Lookout Road was subdivided and sold to Duck Run I by Settlement 295.
2010s - A second parcel of land at 0.09 km² was subdivided and sold to residents of Duck Run I by Settlement 295.
2024, July - A third parcel of land of 0.24 km² was sold to Duck Run I by Settlement 295.
