On April 27, 2002 the decision was made to extend the chipseal pavement up to Universal Hardware.^[1] And then it was paved in March of 2005.

At the community meeting of February 28, 2026 members approved buying one additional rod of road allowance on each side of Center Avenue, to make the road wider from FB Trailers to the Settlement 86 border, wherever land transactions were being made along it.^[2] At the same meeting members decided that the power lines at the planned Roundabout 96, where Center Avenue met 30th Street, would be run underground.^[2][3]

At the meeting of August 29, 2026 it was reported that a turning lane, estimated at about $42,000, was to be added to Center Avenue past Universal Hardware to make it safer. Raising the road by about 2 feet at Universal Hardware's entrance would cost around $20,000 more, and Universal Hardware offered to pay half of both. Members approved the community spending its share on the upgrade.^[4]
